Setting up Pactic in the Delivery Gateway Shopify app

How to ship with carriers through your Pactic contract in the Shopify app.

If you have a contract with Pactic, you can use it in the Delivery Gateway Shopify app. No development is needed. Pactic is a fulfillment provider: Delivery Gateway sends your parcels to Pactic, and Pactic hands them over to the carrier your customer selected at checkout.

Pactic is not shown as a separate carrier in the provider list. You first connect your Pactic account, then choose Pactic as the integration type for each carrier you want to use through it.

1. Connect your Pactic account

  1. In the Shopify admin, open Apps > Delivery Gateway > Provider settings.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the provider list and activate Pactic under Fulfillment providers block.

  3. Enter the connection details you received from Pactic and click Save.

2. Set up each carrier to use Pactic

  1. In Provider settings, click the Edit icon of the carrier you want to use, for example GLS.

  2. Check Available for customers.

  3. Check Available for pickup to offer pickup points and parcel lockers, and Available for delivery to offer home delivery.

  4. Under Integration type, select Pactic (via fulfillment provider).

  5. Click Save, then repeat for the other carriers.

3. Show the delivery options at checkout

  1. In App settings, turn on the Delivery Gateway widget.

  2. In Delivery customization, match your Shopify shipping methods with the carriers. See Delivery customization.

  3. If your theme uses a cart drawer, check that the widget appears in it. See Cart drawer configuration with a custom theme.
