Delivery customization
You can configure shipping rates that display at checkout to charge customers for delivery. Shipping rates determine how much customers pay for shipping based on their location, order weight, product type, and delivery speed.
Delivery customization allows you to show only those shipping methods and prices that are relevant to the customer. Match the shipping rates set up in Shopify with your logistics providers. There are two strategies for this:
The exact match strategy: we recommend using this method.
The keyword match strategy: this is an advanced strategy.
Exact match strategy
The exact match strategy is simple: you select the exact shipping rates for each delivery method and your customers will only see the selected rates. There are three categories:
Shipping rates that are always available for customers: these options will be shown to your customers regardless of the delivery method.
Shipping rates for store deliveries.
Shipping rates for each provider. You can select shipping rates for both home delivery and pickup point delivery separately.
Keyword match strategy
With the keyword name strategy, each shipping rate name should include a keyword for the provider and another for the shipping method. The system will use these keywords to find the correct shipping rate. Add the right keywords for each provider and shipping method to ensure the correct rates appear at checkout.
For example, if you have a shipping rate called "Locker pickup", you can use the following strategy:
Add the keyword "pickup" to the Pickup point delivery method.
Add the keyword "locker" to all providers that offer automated parcel lockers.

Open the Shopify admin and under Apps, select Delivery Gateway.
On the left, select Delivery customization.
Select Exact match.
Select shipping rates that are always available for customers.
Select shipping rates for store delivery: these options will only appear if the customer selects store delivery.
Select shipping rates for each provider and shipping mode combination. These options will only appear if the customer selects the provider with the respective shipping method.
