App settings

The App settings page in the Delivery Gateway Shopify app allows you to configure how your users can interact with Delivery Gateway on Shopify.

Configure the Delivery Gateway app in Shopify on the App settings page.

You can:

  • Set up store pickup.

  • Enable address verification.

  • Customize your Shopify order data.

Open the App settings page

To open the App settings page:

  1. Open the Shopify admin.

  2. Select Delivery Gateway under Apps.

  3. Go to App settings.

Store pickup

You can set up an in-store pickup option to let your customers pick up their orders at one of your retail locations.

  • Check Show your locations on the map to ensure that customers can browse the map view for your stores.

  • Check Show unavailable stores to show stores even if they are unavailable for pickup.

Set up an icon for your stores: this icon will be shown on the map for your stores. The icon should have a minimum size of 128x128 pixels. The supported formats are:

  • HEIC

  • WEBP

  • SVG

  • PNG

  • JPG

Address verification

You can enable address validation and verification for home deliveries. This helps your customers to avoid errors during the address selection process.

When verification is enabled:

  • Customers select their address with the help of an autocomplete dropdown menu so they can only set a valid, existing address.

  • They set the actual location of the entrance on a map.

  • Any additional information is entered into a separate field.

To enable the address verification, check Enable address validation and verification feature under Address verification for home deliveries.

Shopify order customization

On the App settings page, click Open advanced settings to get to the advanced settings page. Here you can use a JavaScript code snippet to change and customize the data that gets saved to the Shopify order.
