What currency is used for cash on delivery?

Delivery Gateway supports any currency with a 3-character ISO code. Which currency is used depends on the method of integration.

For Shopify integrations, Delivery Gateway forwards cash on delivery orders to the logistics provider in the original order currency. Any package insurance selected by the customer is included in the order transmission.

With your own custom integration, Delivery Gateway uses the currency that is submitted to it via the API. Our system is capable of handling any currency type but ultimately, it depends on the logistics provider whether it accepts a specific currency.
