Merchant and provider information options

You can configure how to display delivery information on the Admin dashboard or Shopify.

You can set up default information for your Delivery Gateway merchant, as well as for each provider. The following information is configurable for home delivery and pickup point delivery:

  • Title: Customize the courier's name on the storefront to better suit your needs. For example, you can change 'GLS' to 'GLS (recommended)' to encourage customers to choose this option.

  • Priority: If you offer multiple courier options, they will appear in alphabetical order by default on the storefront. You can change this sequence by adjusting the priority field. For example, if you offer DHL and UPS, you can display UPS first by setting its priority to 1 and DHL's to 2.

  • Information for home delivery: Add custom text next to the courier's name to help customers with their decision. For example: 'Within 1-2 business days.' or 'Saturday delivery available!'

  • Information for pickup point delivery: Add custom text next to the parcel point network's name to help customers with their decision. For example: 'Delays expected due to peak season.' or 'More than 3000 pickup points.'

  • List of required address fields for home delivery: Here you can customize which fields the Delivery Gateway API requires from your connected platform. Please note that if a field is strictly mandatory in the courier’s API, the Delivery Gateway will enforce it regardless of your configuration here.

  • List of required address fields for pickup point delivery: Here you can customize which fields the Delivery Gateway API requires from your connected platform. Please note that if a field is strictly mandatory in the parcel network’s API, the Delivery Gateway will enforce it regardless of your configuration here.
